Former Gold Medal boss Terry Fisher has invested in new agency Zero Zero One Travel – an offering from One Hundred Concierge.
Fisher is a former boss of Thomas Cook’s luxury division, which he joined when Gold Medal was bought by Cook in 2008. He also founded agency chain Travelworld in 1982 aged 19.
Fisher became a member of One Hundred Concierge himself after founding a number of companies.
Impressed by its work, Fisher decided to invest in the future growth of the business.
He said: “I have been approached by numerous businesess all enquiring about my next steps within the travel industry since Thomas Cook.
“This new venture is exactly what I was waiting for and I am delighted to help guide the expert management team to future growth and success.”
Fisher will sit on the board and act as an advisor to the founding management team.
Zero Zero One Travel founder, Albert Oliver, said: “We are thrilled to have Terry Fisher’s support as we begin to expand and develop Zero Zero One Travel in the luxury travel market.
“We trust his expert advice and network will help us to continue to establish ourselves as a leading boutique travel agency.”
