The luxury hotel group is set to open its first property in Brazil in Sao Paulo later this month.
The company has announced October 15 as the opening date for Four Seasons Hotel Sao Paulo At Nacoes Unidas.
The 258-room hotel is in a new 29-storey tower development on the banks of Sao Paulo’s Pinheiros river, and will operate alongside 84 Four Seasons Private Residences.
Design of the hotel is centred around art with works from Brazilian artists such as Burle Marx, Francisco Brennand and Paulo Mendes da Rocha on display.
Dining options, overseen by Italian executive chef Paolo Lavezzini, will encompass a signature restaurant and lobby bar. While other facilities will include a spa and fitness centre, indoor-outdoor pool and function rooms.
General manager Michael Schmid said: “As the first Four Seasons in Brazil, our team is especially excited to introduce the customised experiences and personalised service for which the company is known around the world.
“Although many Brazilians who travel internationally are very familiar with the Four Seasons experience, the opportunity to offer something uniquely tailored to this city and connect with its citizens is important for us.”
