Gemma Pinder-Davidson will join If Only as part of a restructure of the luxury operator’s business development team.
From July 2 If Only will have two new heads of sales roles divided between north and south with Pinder-Davidson becoming head of sales north and Dominic Carrick becoming head of sales south.
Pinder-Davidson’s departure from Gold Medal and Travel 2 was announced yesterday (June 4).
The pair will report into business development director Tracy Docherty.
As part of the restructure, Jorge Quibell has been promoted to business development manager for the south west.
The Glasgow-based company said the reshuffle would act to enhance relationships with its existing agencies, help establish commercial partnerships with agencies new to the brand and had been timed to coincide with the launch of its new Caribbean brochure.
Gordon McCreadie, sales and marketing director, said: “We have had a phenomenal start to our year with sales up 39% and daily requests from new agents to work with us.
“Gemma’s wealth of experience, industry knowledge and commercial acumen will be a key addition to the If Only family. Dom’s drive, enthusiasm and insight will be essential factors in ensuring that we continue to increase sales and our engagement with retail partners old and new.
“Both these appointments are a clear indication of our commitment in supporting agents and will help us become the leading B2B company in the luxury sector.”
