The hunt is on for the best companies in the UK and Irish travel trade as TTG launches the TTG Travel Awards 2018.
The ceremony will take place at the Lyceum Theatre in London on Monday September 17, followed by an after-party at The Savoy hotel.
The 17 supplier categories uniquely combine an agent-rating stage and a written submission stage, with each carrying an equal weighting. Suppliers must register online by April 7 in order to be rated by travel agents.
There are also seven categories to recognise individual agents, including homeworkers, high street agents, and business travel consultants. The entry process has been made easier for agents this year, with boxes for facts and figures, as opposed to writing free-style. Agents have until June 16 to complete their submission online.
Manager of the Year is a new agent category for 2018, to recognise managers of a high street branch or a call centre team, who have steered their sales team to success.
Norwegian Cruise Line makes a return as headline sponsor of the TTG Travel Awards this year, following a successful partnership in 2015.
“This year is one of the most exciting in Norwegian Cruise Line’s history, with the launch of our spectacular new ship Norwegian Bliss, and the continued evolution of our Premium All Inclusive offering, said Nick Wilkinson, NCL’s vice-president and managing director UK and Ireland, and Middle East and Africa.
“Supporting the TTG Travel Awards is a fantastic opportunity for us to underline our commitment to the UK and Irish trade.”
TTG Media’s group editor Pippa Jacks said: "We’re thrilled to unveil the 2018 edition of the TTG Travel Awards, which are recognised as the most robust and meaningful in the business. We look forward to welcoming the cream of travel to the Lyceum Theatre on September 17, to celebrate the hardest-working suppliers and the best-performing travel consultants in the industry."
