How to make the most of innovative new marketing channels will be one of the hot topics at Abta’s Travel Marketing Conference on May 1.
The one-day event, which will be held at Google’s office in St Giles High Street, London, will look at new marketing options across channels including TV, voice, artificial intelligence (AI), mobile and social media.
Other subjects under discussion will include how travel firms should assess their content marketing strategy, how to plan advertising spending and how best to work with “influencers” and bloggers.
The conference will be moderated by Kuoni’s marketing manager Dean Harvey (pictured) with TTG Media as the event’s media partner.
“As the expectations of our customers increase so must our ability to deliver against them,” said Harvey. “In travel marketing we are tasked with delivering uber-personalised, impactful interactions across the entire customer journey, not just ‘the sale’.
“We will hear from the experts in our industry and strategic decision makers delivering case studies and panel sessions which will help us to keep up with the fast pace that modern marketing presents.”
The sessions will include speakers from Google, Abta, Princess Cruises, Secret Escapes, Shearings, Intrepid Group and Sky Media, among others.
