"Our knowledge and attention to detail is focused on providing a life-changing experience to the visitor"

Greener Pastures, which offers tailor-made trips in north-east India, said it was “looking to build relationships and unlock opportunities” with the British travel trade.

The company creates itineraries for independent travellers and groups around the region’s seven states, including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.

Agents interested in working with the company would be able to “mark up” its itineraries by as much as 20%, the operator explained.

The operator added its tours would appeal to first-time visitors to India “wanting to explore more remote regions” and more seasoned travellers “seeking an adventure away from the tourist hot-spots”.

Vaivhav Todi, managing director, said: “We’re very excited to strengthen our relationship with the UK travel trade. Over [recent] years we’ve had support from selected travel agents that know we are experts in the region. Our knowledge and attention to detail is focused on providing a life-changing experience to the visitor while being conscious of the places we travel to and the people that live there. We put together incredible itineraries and know the north-east [of India] intimately.”

Greener Pastures’ Tribes of Nagaland 11-day tour leads in from £650pp and includes airport pick-up, transportation in a private vehicle, 10-nights’ accommodation, meals, sightseeing and the required permits and English-speaking guides.
