Members of TTG’s current intake of Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders are to take part in a charity walk to raise money for Guide Dogs For The Blind.
The walk, involving 12 members of the 30 under 30 group, will see participants wear blindfolds for the 7.5-mile walk around on the Tamsin Trail in Richmond Park, south-west London.
The event, which will be held on Sunday, August 14, aims to raise £1,200 for the guide dog charity. So far, the group has raised around £300 towards this target.
The walk has been organised by 30 under 30 member Rosie Stone, from Flight Centre First & Business.
She said: “Being part of this year’s TTG 30 under 30 programme has been a great experience, however it’s important to give back to the community.
“Guide Dogs For The Blind is an amazing charity, and helping people every day. A blindfolded walk was an interesting spin on the traditional walk or marathon – we’re confident our group can raise the funds to help out this great organisation.”
