If Only’s head of sales Neil Sealy is leaving the business to take up a role at another luxury tour operator.
The company he is joining is currently direct-sell, and Sealy has been tasked with introducing it to the trade.
Sealy told TTG he was keen to stress his decision to leave If Only had nothing to do with the recent changes to senior management.
“The new guys have been great – they’ve come in and done a very good job, which made it an even tougher decision,” he said.
“The place I’m headed to wants to work with the trade and decided I’d be a great person to do that. I couldn’t resist the offer.”
Sealy added that his new office would be located closer to home for him than If Only’s.
“Similar to how I work now, I’ll probably be in the office about one day a week and the rest of the time out on the road.
“It’s very exciting.”
Sealy’s last day at If Only will be June 22, and he’ll take up his new role on June 25.
In an e-shot sent to agents thanking Sealy for his service, an If Only spokesperson said: "As you may already know, our head of sales and BDM for the south-east of England, Neil Sealy, is moving onto pastures new.
"We wanted to acknowledge Neil’s’ contribution to our phenomenal growth in the last five years and to thank him for being a great If Only ambassador. We wish Neil every success in his new venture."
