InsideAsia Tours has launched a new microsite to help agents secure family bookings to the region.
The Family Adventures area, which can be found at insideasiatours.com family-adventures, will showcase new products, activities and blogs written by staff across its three brands, InsideJapan, InsideVietnam and InsideBurma, which are available free to the trade.
Agent manager Matt Spiller said the page was created to keep up with demand for the region from the family market, which he said was “proving increasingly popular”.
“As the company and staff have matured over the last 15 years, we have put more emphasis on creating fantastic family holidays to Japan, Indochina and Burma, an area that is proving increasingly popular,” he said.
“Many families are looking for something new. Our destinations offer that in buckets and InsideJapan, InsideVietnam and InsideBurma ensure families get the most out of their adventures”.
Among the family-friendly experiences featured on the new page is a 12-night tour from InsideJapan taking travellers from Tokyo to Kyoto through the Japanese Alps. Starting from £6,430 for a family of four, the package offers the chance to explore the Black Crow samurai castle in Matsumoto and take part in a Taiko drumming class.
Families after a trip to Vietnam can take advantage of InsideVietnam’s 14-night trip to the country, which includes kayaking in Halong Bay, a stay in a lodge on the Mekong Delta and the chance to explore the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, available from £6,800 for a family of four.
Meanwhile, InsideBurma is offering elephant trekking in the Shan mountains as part of its 13-night Burmese Family Adventure, which goes from Mandalay to Yangon, from £7,980 for a family of four.
