The Intrepid Group is targeting growth in Scotland and Ireland with the appointment of its first Ireland-based business development manager.
Carrie Day joins the operator as it looks to build its presence elsewhere in the UK and Ireland and further promote its presence among the trade.
Day, who has previously worked for Flight Centre in Vancouver and Marble City Travel in Kilkenny, said: “Responsible travel is something very close to my heart so it’s very exciting to be working with a company which is setting the bar so high in this field.”
Andrew Turner, Intrepid Group head of trade sales, added: “We are seeing excellent growth from both Ireland and Scotland and having a BDM dedicated to these markets will help to open up even more opportunities.
"We would love to work with agents on co-hosting customer events or joint marketing activities.”
