Japan’s national tourism organisation (JNTO) has overhauled its trade support portal and will launch a new range of training webinars next week.
The platform features a range of resources and online training options designed to help agents get ready for the country’s borders to reopen.
Resources include complimentary access to a photo library to assist with promotion, as well as key supplier information to help agents convert.
Additionally, the site also features up-to-date coronavirus travel information, itinerary inspiration and contacts at the JNTO’s London office.
The first of the JNTO’s new training webinars will take place next Wednesday (15 December) and will highlight Hokkaido’s Daisetsuzan national park.
Daisetsuzan is famed for its striking mountain landscapes, earning it the nickname "the playground of the gods", according to the JNTO.
The platform will also provide opportunities for agents to win prizes courtesy of the JNTO and ANA – All Nippon Airways.
Agents who complete the e-learning courses can win anything from Kabuki skin care face masks to £50 in John Lewis vouchers.
