Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has put its summer 2020 programme on sale from six of its nine UK bases, including more than 10 million seats and nine new routes.
The UK’s second largest Atol holder has added four new destinations from Birmingham, and three at Stansted.
Newcastle gains a new route to Kos and Belfast a new route to Izmir, while capacity at Manchester has been extended by 70,000 seats and Leeds Bradford by 50,000.
In total, the launch features nine new routes and will see Jet2 place more than 10 million seats on sale for summer 2020 across the six bases.
Details of Jet2’s summer 2020 programmes from Edinburgh, Glasgow and East Midlands airports will follow later this year.
The announcement follows a European Parliament vote to preserve UK-EU flying permissions in the event of a no-deal Brexit and remove a proposed cap on UK-EU flights at summer 2018 levels.
“The UK government has confirmed flights to our EU holiday destinations will continue just as last year, providing assurance that whatever the outcome of Brexit, holidaymakers can continue to book holidays with confidence,” said Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive Steve Heapy.
Of Jet2’s summer 2020 programme, Heapy added: “With nine brand new routes [and] more seats on sale than ever, we are once again demonstrating our commitment to our customers.
"With more choice and flexibility for customers and independent agents, we’re confident this summer programme will be a huge hit.”
From Birmingham, Jet2 will fly weekly to Kefalonia for summer 2020, three-times weekly to Nice, twice-weekly to Murcia and twice-weekly to Budapest, an extension of its existing winter service.
Jet2 will operate 24 flights a week from Birmingham to the Canaries, and has grown capacity across a range of other destinations, including Bulgaria and Croatia.
Stansted gains three-times weekly flights to Murcia and weekly Bergerac and La Rochelle services. In total, Jet2 will fly to 41 destinations from Stansted, with more in the pipeline.
More than one million flights will go on sale at Newcastle across 33 destinations, including 12 services a week to the Canary Islands.
Jet2’s summer 2020 Leeds Bradford schedule is its largest ever at nearly two million summer 2020 seats, representing more than 200 flights a week during peak periods.
At Manchester, meanwhile, flights will peak at more than 250 a week with nearly three million seats on sale to 48 destinations.
