Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has suspended its Canary Islands flight and holiday programme as the country returned to a state of national lockdown on Thursday (5 November), and issued an update on its flights and holidays to Greece and Cyprus.
All flights and holidays departing England between 5 November and 2 December have been cancelled, with Jet2 provisionally hoping to resume operations from 3 December.
A revised flight and holiday programme is operating from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast International airports, Jet2 confirmed – adding it was "monitoring the situation very closely".
"Due to the latest government travel advice, we have taken the decision to suspend flights and holidays from England to the Canary Islands between 5 November and 2 December inclusive, and we currently plan to restart from 3 December," said Jet2.
"This means that, in line with government advice, we will have no flights or holidays departing from England between 5 November and 2 December inclusive."
Customers yet to travel will automatically have their bookings cancelled, and will be issued a full refund.
Those in-resort will be contacted to advise them of their options regarding flights back to the UK.
