Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has suspended the remainder of its summer 2020 Canary Islands flight and holidays programme.
All flights and holidays due to depart up to and including 17 October have been cancelled, Jet2 confirmed in a message to agents on Tuesday (22 September).
Bookings will be automatically cancelled with a full refund, with no action required by agents.
Flights are currently scheduled to restart from 18 October, subject to any further changes to Jet2’s summer 2020 flying programme.
"Jet2holidays have taken the decision to extend the suspension of our flights and holidays programme to the Canary Islands due to the continued Covid-19 pandemic," it said in a statement.
"We still have plenty of holidays available to alternative destinations, including Madeira, Kos, Rhodes, Corfu, Kefalonia, Cyprus and Turkey next week for your customers to rebook."
Jet2CityBreaks, meanwhile, has extended the suspension of its Iceland flight and holiday programme.
All holidays departing up to and including 19 November will automatically be cancelled.
Iceland flights will restart from 8 February 2021 (Glasgow), followed by Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle (11 February); Leeds Bradford (18 February); Stansted (4 March); East Midlands (8 March); Edinburgh (19 April); and Belfast (22 April).
