Kerzner plans new One&Only property in Dubai

The group will launch a hotel within the One Za’abeel development, seen as Dubai’s latest landmark, thanks to its daring two-tower architecture and featuring the world’s largest cantilever, “floating” 100 metres above the ground and hosting a panoramic sky concourse, The Linx, that connects the towers.

Denniston International will design the One&Only One Za’abeel, where restaurant offerings will include Club One, 50 storeys in the air. Guests will also be able to access The Linx at One Za’abeel. A “statement” pool will also feature on the top of The Linx.

The hotel will fall under the new One&Only Urban Resorts collection, becoming its first real city-only hotel. Elements will include One&Only Gym, One Cycle and One Yoga, while the One&Only spa will open 24 hours and specially designed suites for children will also be an option. For frequent guests to Dubai, there will be the option to keep belongings in the resort until their next stay.

The high-rise mixed-use One Za’abeel development will not be ready until 2020 and will incorporate the One&Only hotel, private residences, serviced apartments and office spaces, in addition to high-end retail.

One&Only already has two hotels in Dubai under its Beach Resorts collection – One&Only The Palm and One&Only Royal Mirage.
