Scottish airline Loganair is expecting a distribution boost having signed deals with three GDSs.
A deal with Travelport means Loganair can now promote its inventory of branded content and ancillaries to Travelport-connected agencies in 180 countries.
Further more, by having access to Travelport’s rich content and branding technology, the airline will be able to increase revenues through additional ancillary sales via the GDS.
Deals with Amadeus and Sabre will mean users of the two services can see the number of seats available to book and act accordingly.
The deal comes as Loganair strikes out on its own when it ends its franchise agreement with Flybe on September 1.
It will then fly under the Loganair brand and will also have a codeshare arrangement with British Airways (BA).
Kay Ryan, commercial director at Loganair, said: “The signing of this agreement and partnership with Travelport strategically coincides with a new era of advanced operations for Loganair.”
