Luggage Mule has begun to roll out its service via online travel agents following several new partnerships.
Jordan Makin, a director of the luggage delivery service which was launched in July 2013, said it had already been made available to A1 Travel while Broadway Travel is expected to start offering it in October.
He added other deals were also being discussed, while European tour operators are beginning to express interest in it as the service begins to fulfill its longer-term strategy.
Makin said: “This is where we wanted to go from day one. The whole point of the product was to be integrated with other products. “What we didn’t appreciate was the amount of time it takes to generate the trust and feedback and respond to that to make it perfect.”
A1 Travel head of marketing Leon Shanahan said the OTA had piloted the service via bargainholidaysonline.com for a month. Having seen it prove its worth, he added the company was now looking at offering the service via A1travel.com
