ITV’s hit travel show The Cruise will return for a sixth series in the New Year.
The six-part documentary was filmed aboard Princess Cruises’ Majestic Princess last year during sailings to Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
Episodes will air weekly on ITV1 at 8.30pm, starting January 3.
Series six will introduce a number of new faces including Captain Dino Sagani, who has worked for Princess for 25 years and has served on several of the line’s ships.
Among those taking centre stage will be hotel services engineer Scott Grayson, who is balancing his role maintaining the 143,000-tonne ship with fathering his new born baby daughter.
Actor Anthony Head will provide the voiceover for the series.
Tony Roberts, Princess Cruises’ vice-president UK and Europe, said: “We’re delighted Princess Cruises will once again feature in The Cruise series on ITV, which offers viewers a wonderful glimpse into the wealth of experiences for our guests both onboard and ashore, and the daily lives of our dedicated crew.
“We can’t wait for the series to transport viewers to exotic Asia and the stunning landmark locations of Australia and New Zealand on Majestic Princess.”
