A man who allegedly threatened travel agency staff with a fake handgun and stole cash has been charged with robbery.
Robert Darling, 30, of Strickland Street in London, was arrested last week in connection with the raid at the Mount Pleasant Road branch of Thomas Cook in Royal Tunbridge Wells in July.
He now faces a charge of robbery and possession of an imitation firearm for the role police believe he played in the incident, KentOnline reports.
Earlier this year on July 9, police were called to the Cook store following the robbery during which a man brandished a fake black handgun and made off with a quantity of currency.
Darling also stands accused of two further robberies in the London area, on top of two counts of possessing an imitation firearm and possession of a false identity document.
He appeared at Thames Magistrates Court on October 24 and has been remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on November 22.
