Manchester airport is targeting the Scottish LGBTI community with plans to sponsor both Edinburgh and Glasgow’s Pride festivals.
The airport has secured three-year deals to be the headline sponsor of both events, with the main stage at each being renamed The Manchester Airport San Francisco Stage.
Competitions are being run on both the Pride Edinburgh and Pride Glasgow websites too, giving entrants in each the chance to win a holiday in San Francisco with departures from Manchester airport.
Head of marketing at Manchester airport Patrick Alexander said the airport was pleased to sign up to both events.
He added: “We have sponsored a host of other Prides in England, but thought it was time to come north of the border to support two in Scotland.
“Our involvement in both is a terrific way to thank all of the passengers who choose to fly from Manchester Airport each year.”
