Marella Cruises has revealed 18 new ports of call - including Boston, Halong Bay and San Juan - as part of its winter 2021/22 programme.
The Tui-owned line has created 23 new itineraries which among them features Marella Discovery’s new sailing to the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico and Marella Discovery 2 heading to Canada for the first time.
The programme, which goes on sale today (10 September) also sees "more calls than ever" to Havana during Marella Explorer 2’s Flavour of the Caribbean itinerary.
From December 2021, Discovery’s A Taste of the Tropics will homeport in Barbados and will sail to new ports of call Charlotte Amelie and Frederiksted in the US Virgin Islands before continuing to Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Discovery 2 will sail on two new itineraries around Asia from 2022. The Lights of the Orients itinerary will see the ship homeport in Hong Kong and Eastern Experience will sail from Singapore. Both itineraries will visit new ports of call such as Manila, Brunei and Da Nang.
