Marketing professionals from across travel have been honoured at the ninth Travel Marketing Awards.
More than 140 travel firms, media marketing teams and PR agencies were shortlisted for the accolades, which are designed to reflect the aims of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Travel Group (CIM Travel Group) in promoting best practice within travel marketing.
The awards, of which TTG Media is a media partner, were held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on March 14 and celebrated work done between September 2015 and August 2016.
The Tomorrow’s Travel Marketing Leader Award 2017, which recognises young people who will lead travel marketing in the future, was won by Will Weeks, head of content, Contiki.
Richard Carrick, president of CIM Travel Group, said: “Our industry now has the strongest brands, highest-quality products and the best qualified marketers it has ever had – and this year’s Travel Marketing Awards fully reflect this excellence.”
