TTG Media is launching a hunt for experienced people across the travel industry to join the first TTG Mentoring Scheme as mentors for emerging leaders.
Launched at today’s second TTG Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders conference in London, in conjunction with Shine People & Places, the scheme will match a minimum of 20 mentors to young people already working in the travel industry looking for career and leadership advice.
Daniel Pearce, TTG Media managing director, said the scheme was a natural development from TTG’s work with young achievers across travel.
“Following the success of the annual TTG 30 under 30 initiative, there has been an obvious need for more ongoing support for those young people who have come forward,” said Pearce. "The TTG Mentoring Scheme is the next step, and I have really enjoyed working with Gaby Marcon at Shine People & Places to set this up."
Mentors need to be available for one initial meeting in February 2016, after which meetings can take place online or in person, at whatever pace suits the mentor and mentee.
