Monarch hosted a group of 14 agents on a tour of its engineering facility at Birmingham airport.
The agents, all belonging to independent agencies around the Midlands, included apprentices, homeworkers and business owners.
The tour was led by head of trade sales Simon Garrido, national account managers Kirsty Bachelor and Karen Woods.
Monarch’s new business development executives Emma Fuller, James Carvetta and Hayley Morris were also in attendance.
The hangar facility provides engineering support to Monarch’s fleet as well as a number of other airlines.
During the trip the group were taken onboard an aircraft to see the maintenance in operation.
Bachelor said: “The tour of our Birmingham hangar was very well received by the agents and we have had some excellent feedback on our Monarch Agents Facebook page.
“Monarch now serves 30 destinations from Birmingham airport this summer; more than any other airline, and this event was a great opportunity to showcase our offering in a unique setting.”
