CroisiEurope’s recently appointed UK sales director has revealed intentions to grow the line’s trade team, offer its first agent incentives and launch a “completely re-engineered” website.
John Fair, who joined the river specialist in the newly-created position on March 1, told TTG agents would be offered “a suite of tools” in the coming months to grow their businesses including the website, a revamped agent portal and more fam trip opportunities.
He added that he was also looking to secure “attractive rates” for agents to sample the product offered by the line, which operates a fleet of around 50 vessels worldwide.
Fair – former Cosmos product and commercial director – is currently CroisiEurope’s only UK-based sales team member.
When asked whether the French-owned line would look to grow the team, Fair said: “That’s definitely the plan at some point. I couldn’t put a timescale on it just yet.”
Fair said he believed CroisiEurope could provide agents with “great value at a mid-range price point”, and encouraged potential partners to visit the line’s recently created Facebook and Twitter trade accounts to learn more about its products.
“We are very keen to grow. At the moment in the UK CroisiEurope is a little bit of a stranger to most agents but we really do want to become front of mind,” he added.
“It’s up to us to help agents understand just how diverse a range we have.”
