Norwegian has marked its first anniversary at Birmingham airport by increasing the number of flights to Malaga and publishing its winter schedule.
From June, the Malaga flight will increase to four a week, while the destination is also on sale now for next winter, together with Tenerife, with single fares from £29.90. Norwegian also serves Barcelona, Madrid and Gran Canaria from Birmingham.
The budget airline has carried more than 125,000 passengers from the Midlands airport since launching flights there. Thomas Ramdahl, the airline’s chief commercial officer said: “Our first year at Birmingham has flown by and has seen Norwegian become the fastest growing carrier at the airport. Our unique combination of high quality, low fares and free Wi-Fi is setting us apart as passengers in Birmingham continue to take advantage of our services.”
