Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings has appointed Mark Kempa its new executive vice-president and chief financial officer.
Kempa has been given the nod on a permanent basis after serving as Norwegian’s interim chief financial officer since March.
He will report to Norwegian president and chief executive Frank Del Rio.
“Mark’s extensive experience, continued progression with increased responsibilities and track record of success made him the ideal choice for the role,” said Del Rio.
“His deep knowledge of the company and industry, coupled with his financial experience, are just some of the reasons we are excited to have Mark assume the role of CFO.”
Kempa has been with Norwegian for more than 20 years and was instrumental, said the line, in its 2013 IPO, its 2014 acquisition of Prestige Cruises International and three years overseeing the finances behind its new build programme.
