Peter Andre serenaded passengers aboard a Jet2.com flight this week as the airline celebrated its 15th anniversary.
Andre surprised customers at check-in at Leeds Bradford airport and sang Happy Birthday aboard the flight.
Jet2.com has carried more than 65 millions passengers since it’s launch in 2003, when it served nine destinations with two aircraft. It is now the UK’s third largest airline, serving 65 sun, ski and city destinations from nine UK bases with a fleet that will total 88 aircraft by January 2019.
“It’s a great chance to look back on what has been achieved since we launched. The things that mattered to customers 15 years ago, such as VIP customer service, great flight times and value, are just as important today, and that is what we have focused on resolutely for the past decade and a half,” said commercial director Steve Lee.
Last year the company celebrated the 10th anniversary of Jet2holidays, which is now the UK’s second largest operator.
The airline and operator have launched their biggest ever programme for summer 2018.
