Princess Cruises’ fifth Royal-class ship will be named Enchanted Princess, the line has revealed.
Enchanted Princess will launch on June 15, 2020, initially sailing a series of European itineraries.
Its maiden season will be available to book from November 8.
The ship will be sister to Royal Princess, Regal Princess, Majestic Princess and Sky Princess, which will join the fleet in October 2019.
Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises president, said: “The name Enchanted Princess is captivating and conveys the elegance and grace of our new ship, which will introduce more travellers to the pleasures and value of cruising.
“We are certain Enchanted Princess will exceed the expectations of our guests, ensuring they have the most memorable cruise.”
A sixth Royal-class ship will debut in 2021. Princess Cruises has a further two LNG-powered ships on order, due in late 2023 and spring 2025.
Enchanted Princess will be built by Fincantieri with capacity for 3,660 guests. The line said it would be an “evolution” on the design of its existing Royal-class ships.
