Railbookers has announced an epic round-the-world trip, visiting 20 iconic cities in 15 countries during the 56-day break, priced from £15,512.
Around the World by Rail is described by the operator as the “ultimate bucket-list adventure”, with weekly departures.
Starting in London, the trip combines city break destinations with cultural hotspots, heritage rail routes and off-the-beaten-track adventures.
The trip is completely customisable, allowing agents to tailor bookings for clients.
In total, the journey includes 42 nights’ hotel accommodation, one night on a ferry, five nights’ overnight train, three nights onboard the Indian Pacific, and three nights onboard Amtrak.
“Around the World by Rail demonstrates the ever-increasing breadth of destinations covered by Railbookers and the huge amount of choice customers have when booking independent rail holidays with us,” said managing director Peter Traynor.
Trip highlights include a night in a traditional yurt on Mongolia’s open plains, visiting the Great Wall of China and sightseeing tours of the Grand Canyon.
