Travelzoo’s Europe president, Richard Singer, has informed the company that he is to resign.
Singer lodged an 8-K – a form used to notify investors in US public companies of events that may be important to shareholders – on Tuesday (July 25) and will leave the business on September 30.
Travelzoo said it was not releasing a statement on the departure, but Singer said he would be able to share his next role in due course.
Singer joined Travelzoo, which has 26 offices globally, in January 2012 with full responsibility for the business’s direction and growth across Europe.
Prior to joining Travelzoo he held senior positions at the Telegraph Media Group - including general manager of travel, where he led all commercial, editorial and product functions.
He was also responsible for the commercialisation of the Telegraph website.
Travelzoo is slated to release its Q2 2017 earnings on July 27.
