More than 300 passengers on Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas have fallen victim to a stomach bug.
The Sun reports that 332 guests had contracted the Norovirus after the Independence of the Seas set sail from Port Everglades for the Caribbean on last week.
There were more than 5,500 passengers on board and the ship was subject to a deep clean with staff wearing protective clothing.
The company said the vessel would "undergo special additional cleaning procedures before it departs on its next cruise" and said it encouraged passengers to wash their hands often.
