Early booking discounts of 30% are available when Royal Caribbean International places its 2018 UK and Europe sailings on sale tomorrow (March 23).
Eight of the line’s ships will be deployed in Europe next year with the programme headlined by Royal’s newest vessel, Symphony of the Seas.
Symphony, which will be the world’s largest ship when it launches in April 2018, will spend its inaugural summer season sailing the Mediterranean, calling at ports in Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Provence, Florence/Pisa, Rome and Naples.
Next year will also see Royal return to destinations including Flam, Molde and Skjolden in Norway and the Icelandic town of Isafjordur.
In addition, the line will introduce Holyhead, on the Welsh island of Anglesey, as a new port of call.
Among its British sailings, Independence of the Seas returns to Southampton with three 14-night voyages around the Mediterranean and a 14-night sailing to the Canary Islands.
According to the line, the 2018 season will mark the first time it has offered shorter “tester” sailings onboard the vessel, including two and three-night voyages at the end of the school summer holidays.
Independence will also travel back to Ireland for the first time in six years on a five-night sailing during the May half term break calling at Dublin and Cork.
Meanwhile, Navigator of the Seas will join Independence, sailing five to 14-night itineraries around the Continent.
New for 2018, Brilliance of the Seas will call northern Europe home for the first time with 12-night itineraries from Amsterdam, as well as sailings in the Baltics and British Isles.
Serenade of the Seas will offer seven-night sailings to the Norwegian Fjords, in addition to Scandinavia and Russian voyages with departures from Copenhagen and Stockholm.
Vision of the Seas will embark on new 12-night Greek islands itineraries from Barcelona, as well as 12-night Mediterranean voyages to France and Italy, including stops in Rome and Florence/Pisa, the Amalfi Coast and an overnight in Venice.
On the back of a $30 million renovation in 2016, Jewel of the Seas will sail seven and nine-night sailings through the Greek islands and western Mediterranean.
Rhapsody of the Seas will return to Venice, with a seven-night voyage to the Greek islands, mainland and Croatia.
Ben Bouldin, associate vice-president and managing director UK & Ireland said: “Guests are increasingly booking trips further in advance so that they have even longer to enjoy that pre-holiday buzz and our agents play a crucial role in facilitating this, not only for regular travellers but especially for those new to cruise.
“We’re proud to sail 24 of the world’s most innovative cruise ships to over 250 destinations worldwide and excited to announce our extraordinary 2018 UK and European deployment itineraries.”
