Saga has appointed two new directors to its travel division to help the operator meet its future growth targets.
Elanor Sahadow has been appointed director of commercial, while Rob Goodwin becomes director of product and purchasing.
Their appointments come, says Saga, following a structural review of its product and purchasing teams.
Sahadow moves from her role as head of Saga’s short-haul business unit and takes on responsibility for commercial and aviation functions, commercial growth strategy and retention.
She has extensive experience in product and revenue management and was formerly Saga’s head of product and revenue management.
Goodwin, meanwhile, previous head of destination services and river cruising, takes responsibility for product development and customer service differentiation in-resort.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in the travel business after stints with Monarch and Cosmos.
Saga managing director Maria Whiteman said: “In order to meet our ambitious plans for the coming year, we needed to structure our travel product, purchasing and pricing teams for future growth.
“I have therefore created two key director roles, reporting to me, that will help lead this area of the business.
“I am delighted we are able to fill these roles from within our business thanks to the talent we have within the existing travel teams.”
