Trafalgar and Insight Vacations sales manager Chris Price has left the business, the operator has confirmed.
News of Price’s departure comes just days after Ruth Hilton announced she was leaving her role as UK sales and business development director with the The Travel Corporation-owned brands.
Price joined Trafalgar in 2016 after stints with Europcar and Aegean Airlines and earlier in his career with Fred Olsen and Virgin Atlantic.
A spokesperson for TTC said while the operator had no plans to replace Price, it gave the business scope to “promote from within when the time is right”.
It currently has a team of four on the road regional sales managers.
“We can confirm that Chris Price recently left Trafalgar and Insight Vacations to pursue other opportunities,” said the spokesperson.
“At this moment, there are no plans to replace him, but it allows us the opportunity to promote from within when the time is right.”
The spokesperson added the recent changes would not affect the operators’ focus on trade relations.
“The Trafalgar and Insight Vacations UK sales team comprises four regional sales managers on the road and an agency sales support in head office in London, all of whom will be working closely with our agent partners to ensure and maintain the best level of service to the trade, which remains of utmost importance to us,” they added.
Announcing her departure, Hilton said she wanted to pursue a “new challenge” closer to her home in the north of England.
TTC is understood to be seeking a replacement for Hilton.
