The Sandals Foundation has celebrated its seventh year of operations, having raised $28 million in the period.
The non-profit arm of Sandals Resorts International is active in all seven destinations, where it operates a number of community projects.
They include Women Helping Others Achieve, which is run in conjunction with the Bob Marley Foundation, and Save Our Seas, which seeks to educate children in the Caribbean of the importance of protecting the oceans.
President of the Sandals Foundation’s board of directors Adam Stewart said: “In seven years, we’ve achieved much more than we thought possible.
“We continue to identify ways to contribute to the lives of the people in our communities and our reward continues to be the hundreds of lives we are able to impact each day.”
