Luxury line Silversea has ordered a new ship to be called Silver Dawn in a deal valued at more than €320 million.
The luxury line announced the order for another sister ship to its flagship Silver Muse, which will be delivered in late 2021. The order will increase Silversea’s fleet to 11 ships.
Silver Dawn will be built at Fincantieri shipyard in Italy and the announcement comes just months after Silversea agreed a deal to build Silver Moon, another sister ship to Silver Muse, which will join the fleet in 2020.
Silversea’s chairman Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio, said: “Silver Dawn will bear the same hallmarks of quality that guests currently enjoy on our six-star ships.
“We look forward to welcoming guests aboard in November 2021. It was my father’s dream to grow Silversea to at least a 12-ship fleet; today, we are one step closer to fulfilling his vision”.
Silver Muse was launched in 2017 and can cater for up to 596 passengers.
