Singapore Airlines (SIA) has teamed up with wellness brand Como Shambhala to offer a range of special dishes on selected flights.
The dishes have been created using ingredients such as kiwi, yoghurt, beetroot and strawberries to “nourish” the body and reduce travel-induced stresses such as fatigue.
The menus will be available to first and business class customers on selected Singapore to London flights. They can also be pre-ordered through the Book the Cook facility for first, business and premium economy passengers on flights departing Singapore.
The wellness dishes are part of SIA and Como Shambhala’s partnership designed at enhancing passengers’ holistic wellbeing and travel experience while travelling.
Yeoh Phee Teik, SIA’s senior vice-president customer experience, said: “We are excited to unveil the fruits of our partnership with Como Shambhala, tapping in to their award-winning expertise in holistic wellness and nutritious cuisine for our in-flight meals.”
Daniel Moran, vice-president culinary at Como Group, added: “This has been a fascinating project for us, and we have carefully curated a menu that reflects our Como Shambhala brand ethos and approach to food – to inspire the palate with memorable flavours.”
