Royal Caribbean has given prospective passengers a tantalising glimpse of what it claims to be “the world’s longest waterslide at sea”.
The Blaster ride is among the additions to Royal ship Navigator of the Seas following a $115 million makeover.
Guests will zip through the technicolour tunnels, which include a section overhanging the side of the ship. Besides The Blaster, Royal has added Riptide – a headfirst mat racer waterslide.
Other additions include a blow-dry bar, a resort-style deck “poolscape” complete with children’s splash pad, Mexican street food stand El Loco Fresh and three-level signature bar and roof terrace The Lime and Coconut.
Navigator will be the first Royal ship to visit the line’s Perfect Day at CocoCay private island when it opens in May.
