Thomas Cook bidder Triton Partners has agreed a deal to purchase Netherlands-based Corendon Holiday Group through Sunweb Group.
Triton last month made a “highly preliminary and unsolicited” offer for Cook’s Nordic airline and tour operation.
The group has now announced the acquisition of Corendon, which is a tour operator based in the Netherlands and Belgium, for an undisclosed sum.
Correndon has about 750,000 customers with a €515 million turnover.
The deal includes Corendon’s tour operating activities in Holland and Belgium, its back-office operations in Turkey and Corendon Dutch Airlines.
Triton plans to merge Sunweb and Corendon when the acquisition is completed.
