The UK’s first festival for the travel industry is to be held in September, with all ticket sales proceeds donated to Just a Drop.
Travfest, which is being organised and hosted by A2B Transfers, Bedswithease, Feefo and Holiday Extras, will take place in Petersfield, Hampshire on Saturday September 2.
Members of the travel industry and their families are invited for a day and evening of entertainment with games, bands, food stalls and a late night DJ.
The event will include a Family Zone for children, featuring circus skills workshops, face painting and an evening fireworks display.
Free camping will also be available for festivalgoers who wish to stay overnight.
Adult tickets can be purchased for £20 and £10 for children (aged 12-16 years) or £50 for a family ticket for two adults and two children. All ticket proceeds will be donated to the charity Just a Drop, which helps provide clean water and sanitation in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Matt Eames, chief commercial officer at Feefo said: “We are lucky enough to work in a vibrant and exciting industry, so we decided to launch the country’s first-ever festival created specifically for travel industry professionals and their families.
"Travfest will embody the passion, people and fun nature of our business. There will be some great bands, DJ sets, games, bars and food for all the family to enjoy!”
