Four new European itineraries, including the first dedicated to Poland, feature in Trafalgar Tours’ 2019 Worldwide brochure.
The guided holiday specialist has added an 11-day Best of Poland tour to the range. It includes the cities of Warsaw, Gdansk, Toruń, Wroclaw, Zakopane, Krakow and Czestochowa.
The operator says the itinerary is “the perfect trip for history lovers” as it includes visits to Warsaw Old Town, Unesco-listed Toruń and Auschwitz. Guests will also visit The Living Museum of Gingerbread in Toruń where they prepare dough and bake their own gingerbreads in the medieval bakery.
The Worldwide brochure features the Americas, Africa, Asia, Australasia and Antarctica and spans 71 countries.
Also new for next year is the 14-day Treasures of Spain and Portugal, the only Trafalgar trip to combine Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Barcelona and Seville. The operator said: “Spain and Portugal trips continue to be a top seller year after year, so this brand new itinerary has been introduced to meet consumer demand.”
The 11-day Best of Croatia and Slovenia has been added as a shorter duration itinerary covering the highlights of the two trending destinations. The trip explores the Istrian Peninsula, a brand new region for Trafalgar.
Another addition is the 10-day family-friendly Shamrocks and Leprechauns itinerary, covering Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Described as a tour that will “allow families time to bond”, it includes visits to the home of the last-remaining leprechauns, an archery class at Winterfell Castle, a sheep farm on the Wild Atlantic Way and the Flying Boat Museum.
The 2019 Worldwide programme also features new itineraries in Asia, including the 10-day Classic Japan and four-day Nepal Adventure; new trips in the US and Canada, such as the eight day Cape Code Delights; plus an all-new dedicated Africa programme.
The launch of an Antarctic Peninsula Cruise, Land of Penguins and Icebergs, onboard an expedition ship, means Trafalgar now operates guided holidays on all seven continents.
Clients can save up to 10% on trips when they book and pay in full by February 28.
