Travel Counsellors’ bookings have surged 12% during the first half of the year, boosting total sales to £328 million.
The homeworking network though said part of its 2018 success has been down to “growing demand” from the corporate travel sector.
During 2018 to date, global corporate travel bookings are also up 12% on last year, worth £75 million to the business, some £60 million in the UK.
Total UK bookings have risen to £242 million, up £30 million on the same period last year.
Additionally, a “particularly active” post-World Cup July has seen bookings rise 20% on the same period last year.
The business now has more than 1,800 franchisees across seven countries.
A secondary management buyout of the firm was completed last month by Vitruvian Partners following earlier investment by Equistone Partners Europe.
Chief executive Steve Byrne said its franchisees personal touch and bespoke service had contributed to the firm’s growth.
“Our concierge-style travel service truly puts care for clients, with attention to their individual requirements, at the heart of everything we do,” Byrne added.
The company says it has recruited a further 155 franchisees this year, and has pledged to invest in the tools, technology and support to help them grow their own businesses.
