Travel Trade Representation will host its first Irish MICE event in Dublin next spring.
The inaugural MICE MeetUp Dublin evening will take place on Tuesday, April 2 at The Alex hotel.
International MICE tourist boards, conference organisers, inbound event organisers and event venues are all invited to participate.
The evening will feature a drinks reception followed by speed networking, with suppliers seated at tables and buyers moving from table to table.
The supplier meetings will be followed by a dinner and a keynote speaker.
Michael Collins, managing director and founder of Travel Trade Representation and TravelMedia.ie, said: “This is a great opportunity for Irish MICE buyers to meet with international conference venues and event products. We have a fantastic selection of suppliers lined up already.”
Terri Cullinane, director of Cape Clear Consulting, added: "This event provides the ideal opportunity for MICE buyers in Ireland to meet and engage with over 20 international destinations including Convention Bureaux, hotels and venues, all under one roof.
“At a time when an increasing number of destinations are accessible via direct flights from Ireland, this event will assist MICE buyers in sourcing new and refreshed offerings for 2019 and beyond."
