TTG has launched a new mental health-focused hub and is encouraging travel professionals to commit to championing mental wellbeing in their own routine and within their businesses.
The new platform - www.ttgmedia.com/mental-health-hub - contains news and advice articles, as well as external support resources.
It was created as a continuation of the Get Travel Talking initiative, which seeks to raise awareness of mental health challenges facing travel staff amid the Covid pandemic and beyond.
The hub also features video interviews and panel discussions broadcast during previous Get Travel Talking seminars, during which figures from across the industry and from outside of travel, discuss how they’ve coped with the Covid crisis from a mental health perspective and the issues they have faced.
To continue the momentum of 2020, TTG has also launched the Get Travel Talking pledge, which in a similar fashion to a New Year’s Resolution, encourages travel professionals to commit to ways they can support their own mental health, and that of their colleagues, over the next 12 months.
From taking regular exercise, organising more frequent check-ins with colleagues, or perhaps investing in mental health first aid training within your team. Whatever you pledge to do - make it count and make it matter.

TTG editor Sophie Griffiths said: “The mental health hub is aimed at helping individuals across the industry not only support one another, but also themselves.
"Join TTG’s Get Travel Talking pledge and tell us how you will be championing your own - or your colleagues - mental health this year, and let’s all ensure we’re looking after ourselves and each other over the coming months."
