Sky-diving and abseiling down the UK’s tallest sculpture are among the adrenaline-fuelled activities Team TTG has pledged to undertake to raise money for designated charity for the year, Alzheimer’s Society.
TTG news editor Jennifer Morris; chief reporter James Chapple; deputy features editor Abra Dunsby; and special projects editor Madeleine Barber will jump out of a plane near Peterborough next March.
Ttgluxury editor April Hutchinson meanwhile will swap hotel stays and champagne for a harness and hard hat as she abseils down the ArcelorMittal Orbit in London’s Olympic Park next month.
And TTG Media head of events Emma Corbett and office manager Angie Jackson will take part in a 7.5km Memory Walk in October.
Each team member’s exploits are part of TTG Media’s endeavour to raise at least £20,000 for Alzheimer’s Society by next spring.
It follows the company’s efforts for Children With Cancer last year, including four staff running the London Marathon.
The new partnership was announced during the TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies awards ceremony in Birmingham in April, where money was raised on the night.
TTG Media has so far raised more than £3,000 for Alzheimer’s Society.
Joe Swan, regional corporate partnerships executive, Alzheimer’s Society, said: “Alzheimer’s Society is absolutely delighted that TTG Media has chosen us as their charity partner. We’re hugely impressed with all the fundraising they have planned.”
