Newly appointed chief operating officer Lisa Henning announced the plans at the consortium’s conference in Budapest.
She stressed the new initiatives “were not replacing any products already in existence".
"These are all over and above what we already do,” she said, adding that they would all be covered by the existing membership fee.
The new recruitment service will see TTNG members granted 25% off recruitment rates with certain companies, given a dedicated helpline and support in developing job descriptions.
Henning said the consortium would even help with the first round of interviews, with members giving guidance on the attributes and skills they’re looking for in candidates.
Henning also unveiled a new training service academy, which she said had taken over a year “to bring to life”.
The academy will provide training for new recruits, refresher training and courses for senior management.
Business partners will also be involved in helping to train members, and Henning said they would additionally take part in a mentorship programme.
“If we always do what we’ve always done, how can we get new results? The aim of this is to re-motivate, re-energise and re-engage,” she told members.
The consortium also announced plans to introduce monthly “open days”, where delegates can hear group updates during an open house at the TTNG’s head office in Woking, with the first open day taking place on May 9.
“There will also be specific and relevant industry topics addressed, as well as a ‘focus of the month’,” Henning added.
Meanwhile cruise will now sit under Henning’s new job remit, and she revealed a number of new plans for members interested in the sector, including weekly trading updates with cruise lines which will be passed on to members as well as new “product/deals of the day”.
