NCL plans to show off its newest ship, Norwegian Joy, which will be dedicated to the Chinese market, when it calls at Southampton next May after leaving the German shipyard where it is being built.
Even though the 3,900-ship will not be sold to markets outside China, bosses want to invite key UK agents onboard so they can see some of the new features debuting on the ship. These include the first go-karting track at sea, new Concierge category of stateroom and a top-deck park.
Europe, Middle East and Africa managing director Christian Boell said an event was being planned for press and agents, if on a smaller scale than some recent inaugurals.
