Cruise operator will revamp ships including adding bigger suites and more dining venues in time for the start of the 2021 season
Uniworld has announced it will transform its entire fleet, including the Duchess, Queen, Princess and Empress, into super-class ships in time for the start of the 2021 season.
Speaking at a lunch held at Rubens at the Palace yesterday (16 September), Chris Townson, managing director of UK and Ireland at Uniworld, said: “Joie de Vivre and Bon Voyage set the template for the future as they have sold so successfully. The next logical step for us is to upgrade all of our fleet to super ships because it’s what people want.”
The transformation will include bigger suites, more dining venues and “luxurious finishes”.
Townson also confirmed upcoming agent fam trips for the end of this year.
“We will be hosting a mixture of five overnight, three- and four-night trips in November and December for 80 agents,” he said.
