An Emirates aircraft crash-landed at Dubai airport this morning after catching fire.
Emirates confirmed in a statement that flight EK521, travelling from Trivandrum International Airport in Thiruvananthapuram, India, to Dubai has been involved in an accident at Dubai International Airport.
The airline confirmed there were 24 UK nationals onboard, and that the Boeing 777 was "involved in an operational incident upon landing"
Emirates said there were no fatalities among the 282 passengers and 18 crew and that all "are accounted for and safe".
"Our main priority at this time is the safety and wellbeing of all involved and full co-operation is being extended to the authorities and emergency services managing the situation," said a spokesperson.

The aircraft departed at 10.19am from Trivandrum and was scheduled to land at 12.50pm in Dubai.
The Emirates spokesman continued: "We are in the process of opening our customer assistance line and will share these details soon but at this stage we have no further information on what may have caused the accident.
"We are expecting an eight-hour network-wide delay."
